The Secretary General of the GECF, HE S.M. Hossein Adeli hosted the 23rd meeting of the Executive Board at the headquarters of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Doha, Qatar on October, 6-7, 2015.
This 23rd Executive Board meeting was conducted by the Chairman of the Executive Board HE Mohamed Mahemed.M.Oun, Member from Libya. During the meeting, the Executive Board discussed a number of important issues relevant to the development of the Forum.
Leading up to the 23rd Executive Board meeting, Dr. Adeli also hosted the 3rd meeting of the High level Ad Hoc Group for the preparation of the 3rd Gas Summit in Tehran, Iran on October 5, 2015.
The meeting was chaired by HE Hossein Kazempour Ardebili, Executive Board member of Iran. The High level Ad Hoc Group discussed administrative and logistics arrangements for the 3rd Summit.
The meetings of the Executive Board and the 3rd Meeting of the High level Ad Hoc Group for the preparation of the 3rd Gas Summit were attended by Executive Board members from Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela, as well as Observer Member Netherlands.
