The first Workshop organised by the Gas Exporting Countries Forum on Data Reporting Mechanism was held at the GECF headquarters in Doha, Qatar yesterday. The workshop aimed to establish the information and data exchange links, and strengthen collaboration between GECF Member Countries.
In his welcome address, GECF Secretary General, Leonid Bokhanovskiy, highlighted the importance of promoting data exchange. This will contribute to a more stable energy market by reducing gas market volatility through enhanced energy market transparency. The data received from the Member Countries will be also significant in boosting GECF in-house research activity.
