The 5th GECF Data Reporting Mechanism Workshop was held in Doha on November 26, 2014. The meeting was attended by distinguished delegates from the GECF Member Countries: Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Iran, Qatar, Russia and Venezuela. And the event was chaired by the Head of the Statistics and Gas Modeling Department, Ms. Radia Sedaoui.
This workshop was held after the 10th JODI Regional Training Workshop, where distinguished delegates from the GECF Member Countries were also invited and attended to benefit from this training, and to contribute and expose their specific concerns and suggestions related to the JODI data process. The distinguished special envoys, and their accompanying delegation, had the opportunity to attend a gas lecture that was organised by the GECF Secretariat on the topic of Small Scale LNG.
This one day workshop was the ideal opportunity to address many issues related to the GECF Data Reporting Mechanism, such as the assessment, how to improve the GECF monthly data reporting processes and the development of the GECF Annual Statistical Report.
