19th GECF Executive Board Meeting

The Secretary General of the GECF, HE S.M. Hossein Adeli hosted the 19th Meeting of the Executive Board (EB) in the Headquarters of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Qatar on June 23-25, 2014.

This 19th Meeting was conducted by the Chairman of the Executive Board HE Gabbidon Meheux, Member from Nigeria. The Meeting was attended by 13 Member Countries of the GECF namely, Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela, as well as Observer Members the Netherlands and Norway.

The Executive Board discussed preparations for the 16th GECF Ministerial Meeting in Doha, reports on the key developments of the gas market as well as other equally important financial and administrative issues relevant to the development of the Forum.
