On the sidelines of the 27th GECF Ministerial Meeting, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), met with Mr Nazário Bangalane, Representative of the Republic of Mozambique. The meeting underscored the strong cooperation between the GECF and Mozambique, a valued Observer Country, and explored avenues to enhance dialogue and collaboration in the natural gas sector. The Secretary General commended Mozambique’s significant progress in developing its natural gas resources and its LNG-based infrastructure and reaffirmed the Forum’s readiness to continue supporting the country’s energy development aspirations through sharing of knowledge and experience, capacity building, and policy dialogue.
