On the sidelines of the 27th Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), H.E. Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the GECF, held an extended bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek, Minister of Oil and Gas of the State of Libya and President of the 27th GECF Ministerial Meeting. Secretary General Hamel commended Libya for its steadfast support to the objectives and activities of the GECF, and expressed appreciation for H.E. Dr. Abdulsadek’s effective leadership in presiding over the 27th Ministerial Meeting. In turn, H.E. Dr. Abdulsadek congratulated the Secretary General on the preparations of the Ministerial Meeting and lauded his leadership in advancing the Forum’s strategic vision, strengthening cooperation among member countries, and fostering impactful partnerships throughout 2025.
