HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel (right) on Saturday received HE Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, the Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on the sidelines of the 6th GECF Summit of Heads of State and Government in Doha, Qatar. HE Obiang Lima apprised HE Hamel of his vision to transform Equatorial Guinea into a gas mega hub for the region. HE Hamel made the case for Africa’s energy security and assured the esteemed Minister of GECF Secretariat’s full support on various initiatives envisaged by Equatorial Guinea, including through the GECF Gas Research Institute.
