HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel on Sunday received a number of Ministers from the Member Countries of Iran, Nigeria, and Venezuela who paid a call on him on the sidelines of the 6th GECF Summit of Heads of State and Government in Doha, Qatar.
The first bilateral meeting of the day took place with a visiting delegation from Iran, which was led by HE Eng. Javad Owji, the Minister of Petroleum of Iran.
This was followed by a meeting with HE Timipre Sylva, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources of Nigeria.
In the meeting with Venezuela, HE Hamel received HE Félix Plasencia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, HE Asdrubal Chavez, the President of PDVSA, and HE Eng. Angel Gonzalez Saltron, the Member of Executive Board of the GECF from Venezuela.
In these meetings various dynamics pertaining to natural gas, the GECF’s functioning, and the 6th Summit came under the purview of discussion.
