HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel, on Tuesday, held a virtual meeting with HE Joe M. Kang, President of the International Gas Union (IGU), and discussed the importance of natural gas in the global energy scene and its pivotal role in the future. HE Kang personally invited the GECF official to attend the 28th World Gas Congress in Daegu, South Korea from 23-27 May 2022. HE Hamel congratulated HE Kang for his leadership as President of the the 90-year-old distinguished IGU.
