Following on from the previous two meetings, the High-Level Working Group on Long-Term Strategy (LTS) of the GECF held its third meeting on 21 June 2022, via videoconference.
It was chaired by HE Ms Penelope Bradshaw-Niles, Executive Board Member of Trinidad and Tobago, and attended by representatives of GECF Member Countries. HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the GECF, welcomed the participants and highlighted the progress made on the overall project to date, including coordinating and consolidating views of the Member Countries.
Deliberations continued on setting the direction that the Forum will go for over the next years in the context of its updated vision, mission, strategic goals, and priority objectives and key instruments.
The HLWG on LTS agreed to meet one day ahead of the 43rd Executive Board Meeting, slated to be held at the end of September.
