HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries, welcomed HE Igor Marara, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda and the accompanying diplomats at the GECF Headquarters.
During the courtesy visit, the Secretary General briefed his counterpart about the GECF mission and activities, current and prospective membership in the organisation, ongoing projects and upcoming events.
The discussion focused on the matters pertaining to natural gas, transition to cleaner energy, and elimination of energy poverty, and paved the way for further cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.
