Secretary General of the GECF, met with HE Cao Xiaolin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Qatar, at the Embassy of China in Doha

HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the GECF, met with HE Cao Xiaolin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Qatar, at the Embassy of China in Doha.

Their discussions covered areas of mutual interest, notably the natural gas markets, short- to long-term energy outlook, technological developments, as well as potential avenues for establishing a dialogue partnership between the GECF and China. Both parties agreed to continue the dialogue on the sidelines of the forthcoming World Gas Conference, scheduled to take place in Beijing in May 2025.
