GECF Secretariat organized a Data Exchange video conference training session at the Headquarters of the GECF in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday 3rd May 2016.
The Data Exchange Center (DEC) System was designed to support the modeling activities and studies carried out by the GECF, and simultaneously manage data coordination and circulation amongst the GECF Member countries.
The training session was organized based on decisions of GECF MCs’ Data Exchange representatives during their 6th meeting in Doha for the training program of DEC system, and upon the request of Special Envoy on Data Mechanism of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
The 5th Data Exchange Video Conference Training was attended by nominated representatives from the Corporate Management Planning Department of Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), the state-owned oil and gas company of Bolivia. The session was informative and educative to participants.
The Secretariat expects to have similar sessions with other GECF Member countries in 2016.
