GECF Secretariat organized video conference training sessions on Data Exchange Center (DEC) System at the Headquarters of the GECF in Doha, Qatar on 18th and 19th of July 2016.
The training sessions were organized based on decisions of GECF Member Countries Special Envoys for Data Reporting Mechanism during their 6th meeting in Doha for the training program of DEC system.
The 6th and 7th data exchange video conference training was attended by nominated representatives from the Petroleum Economics Department of United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy and nominated representatives from the National Oil Corporation of the State of Libya, on the 18th and 19th of July, respectively.
DEC system was designed to support the modeling activities and studies carried out by the GECF, and simultaneously manage data coordination and circulation amongst the GECF Member countries.
The sessions were informative and educative to participants. The Secretariat expects to have similar sessions with other GECF Member countries on request in 2016.
