The 10th Special Envoys for Data and Statistics (SEDAS) Meeting was hosted by the Secretariat on March 11th 2019 in GECF Headquarters.
This meeting, in its 10th edition, is the annual regular gathering of SEDAS and delegates of Member Countries with the purpose of reviewing and improving the existing Data Exchange Mechanism.
In this occasion, a delegation from the Latin American Energy Organization, OLADE, was invited. The head of the Delegation, Dr. Andres Schuschny, Director of Studies, Projects and Information of OLADE took and active role in the event, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the attendees.
SEDAS discussed relevant topics, such as the enhancement of the processes and tools used by the Secretariat for the Data Exchange Mechanism, Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) and Internet of Things (IoT).
