H.E. Secretary General of the GECF Bilateral Meetings on Day 1 of the 9th OPEC International Seminar

On the first day of the 9th International OPEC Seminar, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the GECF, held a series of high-level bilateral meetings with energy leaders from GECF Member Countries and Partners.

Productive discussions took place with: 

H.R.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Minister of Energy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 H.E. Dr. Delcy Eloína Rodríguez Gómez, Executive Vice President & Minister of People’s Power of Hydrocarbons, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela 

H.E. Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy, Republic of Azerbaijan 

H.E. Bruno Jean Richard Itoua, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Republic of the Congo 

During the meetings, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Hamel highlighted the progress of key GECF initiatives and exchanged views on the evolving global energy landscape. 

The discussions reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening energy dialogue, promoting natural gas as a cornerstone of the energy transition, and supporting market stability and sustainable growth.
