GECF Secretary General Pays Courtesy Visit to Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas) at the sideline of NIES 2025

GECF Secretary General, HE Eng. Mohamed Hamel, met with HE Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas), on the sidelines of NIES 2025, alongside Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye, EVP Gas, Power & New Energy at NNPC Ltd.

HE Hamel thanked Nigeria for its hospitality and commended the Minister’s support for GECF and engagement at COP28 and COP29. Discussions focused on natural gas markets, investment strategies, financing, and capacity building.
