The Secretary General HE Dr. Yury Sentyurin held a meeting with HE Mr. Rashad Ismayilov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar at the headquarters of the Forum in Doha, Qatar.
During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of important issues including the mission and objectives of the GECF, and initiatives the GECF is presently embarking on to achieve its core objectives.
Background
The Azerbaijan is the Observer Member of Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
HE Mr. Rashad Ismayilov was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar on February 7, 2018.
The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Doha, State of Qatar was established in 2007.
