Joint Organisations Data Initiative 9th Regional Training Workshop

The main purpose of the 9th Regional Training Workshop held at the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan from February 25-27, 2014, was to gather representatives from countries and intergovernmental organisations as part of ongoing efforts to encourage countries and organisations to actively participate in the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) OIL and set the groundwork for JODI-Gas. The second initiative, JODI-Gas will be launched during the first half of 2014.

 

Thirty participants, mainly from Central Asia and the MENA region, attended the workshop. The participants are in charge of hydrocarbon data collection at national administrations and also actively participate in the collection and dissemination of JODI data.
