Bangkok, Thailand, 15 September 2026 - H.E. Dr Philip Mshelbila, Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Francisco da Costa Monteiro, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, on the sidelines of Gastech 2026 in Bangkok.
During the meeting, Dr Mshelbila presented an overview of the GECF, its mission in promoting dialogue, cooperation and knowledge exchange among gas-producing countries. The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and explore avenues for strengthening Timor-Leste’s engagement with the Forum.
