The 35th edition of the GECF Monthly Gas Lectures was a dual presentation on the 'Bolivian Hydrocarbons Model and its Impact on South America'.
The first part of the lecture was delivered by Mr Carlos Alberto Torrico Borja -Deputy Minister of Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons at the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy of Bolivia and Chairman of the GECF Executive Board; and the second part was conducted by Mr. Marcelo Velasquez La Vieja, General Director of Commerce, Transportation and Storage at the Ministry of Hydrocarbons of Bolivia, and GECF TEC Member for Bolivia.
The lecturers explored the Bolivian hydrocarbons model, and zoomed in on topics such as the potential of the country's hydrocarbon resources as well as legal frameworks, national incentives and the landscape of the the Bolivian gas market.
