Small- and micro-scale LNG solutions are reshaping the global energy landscape by providing flexible, decentralized infrastructure to produce, transport and deliver gas to remote or underserved markets. Leveraging mobile, intermodal logistics, including specialized LNG carriers, tank trucks, and ISO containers, these solutions form versatile “virtual pipelines” that reliably supply off-grid energy for distributed power, industrial, residential, and transport applications. By bridging critical gaps in the LNG distribution network, they allow exporters to respond dynamically to changing demand and enable importers to expand gas access with lower capital requirements and enhanced operational flexibility.
