The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) proudly commends the visionary leadership of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on achieving a monumental breakthrough in its energy sector, marked by the first-ever shipment of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exported from Venezuelan shores aboard the vessel Chrysopigi Lady.
This historic achievement demonstrates bold progress for Venezuela’s natural gas industry and reflects a strategic commitment to diversifying the country’s energy portfolio. Together with the working class, this landmark export marks the departure of the first gas molecule destined for global markets, a milestone dedicated to the well-being of the Venezuelan people. Under the leadership of HE Delcy Rodríguez, Venezuela continues to demonstrate strong resolve and direction in advancing its energy capabilities, strengthening economic opportunities, and elevating the role of natural gas in national development.
The GECF congratulates the Government of Venezuela, its energy partners, and the Venezuelan people on this remarkable achievement for national progress and international engagement!
