Legal Officer

The Legal Officer provides legal advice and expertise to the Secretary General and senior management on matters that arise out of the Secretariat's dealings with its staff members and the outside world, and is responsible for the legal aspects of the Secretariat's contractual affairs. The Legal Officer also ensures that procedures of the Secretariat are legally sound, evaluates legal issues of concern to the Forum, recommends appropriate actions to the governing bodies, and follows up legal developments and trends in the energy industry and related matters.
