Data and Information Services Department

Mission: The GECF Data and Information Services Department (DISD) is responsible for providing IT and Information Services in the organization. These services include but are not limited to the development of Information Services, Systems, IT infrastructures, analyzing end user IT and data requirements, establishing Energy database, Data Exchange systems with MCs, acquisition and adaptation of software and hardware, web hosting and update, management of secondary data sources and communication with other organizations in data related issues.

Role: The Department Head is responsible for the execution of activities for defining, planning, and overseeing of IT and Data services infrastructure as well as implementation of Energy database systems and statistical analysis and reports. The Data and Information Services Department is currently headed by Dr. Rixio J Morales Urdaneta.
